In continuation of the previous announcement, we inform you that the administrative board of the association has already taken an important and decisive step towards the legalization of Airsoft in Cyprus.
On Tuesday, June 25, 2024, a meeting was held with the Honorable President of Cyprus’ House of Representatives and President of the Democratic Rally (DISY), Mrs. Annita Dimitriou.
The following topics were discussed at the meeting: The current status of the issue of legalization. The framework we are asking to be set as a basis for the legalization of the sport in Cyprus, but also our concerns regarding the registration of weapons. The role of Cyprus Airsoft Association, and the contribution and goals of the association for the promotion and smooth operation of the sport in Cyprus.
The next steps that we need to follow in terms of informing the public and the competent authorities on this matter. This meeting was an important step towards the legalization and further development of the sport in our country.

Σε συνέχεια της προηγούμενης ανακοίνωσης, σας ενημερώνουμε ότι το διοικητικό συμβούλιο του σωματείου έχει ήδη πραγματοποιήσει ένα σημαντικό και αποφασιστικό βήμα προς τη νομιμοποίηση της αεροσφαίρισης στην Κύπρο.
Την Τρίτη 25 Ιουνίου 2024 πραγματοποιήθηκε συνάντηση με την Αξιότιμη Πρόεδρο της Βουλής και της Προέδρου του Δημοκρατικού Συναγερμού, κ. Αννίτα Δημητρίου.
Στη συνάντηση συζητήθηκαν τα εξής θέματα: Η τρέχουσα κατάσταση του θέματος της νομιμοποίησης. Το πλαίσιο που ζητάμε να τεθεί ως βάση για τη νομιμοποίηση του αθλήματος στην Κύπρο, αλλά και τις ανησυχίες μας σχετικά με την εγγραφή των όπλων. Ο ρόλος του Κυπριακού Σωματείου Αεροσφάιρισης, και η συμβολή και οι στόχοι του σωματείου για την προώθηση και την ομαλή λειτουργία του αθλήματος στην Κύπρο.
Τα επόμενα βήματα που πρέπει να ακολουθηθούν ως προς την ενημέρωση κοινού και των αρμόδιων αρχών για το θέμα αυτό. Η συνάντηση αυτή αποτέλεσε ένα σημαντικό βήμα προς την κατεύθυνση της νομιμοποίησης και της περαιτέρω ανάπτυξης του αθλήματος στη χώρα μας.
